This is a summary of the services we most commonly undertake for many of our clients:
- Cutting grass. Most of our clients are municipal and commercial organisations, but we do undertake some private work as well. Our firm is CHAS (safety-scheme) accredited. We can tailor the specification to suit your needs, and your budget. Click here for more details.
- Snow-ploughing and gritting. Paths, steps and car-park areas can become extremely treacherous in winter ice and snow. We offer a “pro-active” service, ensuring your visitors, staff and customers can access your site without undue risk. Click here for more details.
- Planted areas. Weeding, pruning and generally keeping your borders and other planted areas tidy, is skilled work. Our specialist gardening team are highly experienced, qualified and efficient, and can advise you on low-maintenance designs and methods. Click here for more details.
- Weed spraying. We can combat weeds in your hard surface and turf areas. Our staff are qualified to conduct commercial weed-spraying. We can also tackle moss, algae and lichen. Click here for more details.
- Pressure-washing. Cleaning hard surfaces periodically greatly refreshes their appearance and can leave them looking like new. We can take our petrol pressure washer and bowser anywhere. Click here for more details.
- Hedge trimming. We have a variety of equipment, including long-reach trimmers, and can tackle one-off pruning or regular trimming. This often comes under the scope of planted areas. Click here for more details.
- Autumn leaf clearance. We can schedule to attend your site and gather leaves off turf and hard surfaces in the autumn, to hinder surfaces from becoming slippery, and to prevent damage to turf. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Litterpicking. None of your landscaped areas are going to look very nice with volumes of rubbish lying around! Litterpicking is normally done at the same time as each visit to planted areas / turf areas / hard surfaces, but is in some situations scheduled as a separate task. Click here for more details.
- Kerb-sweeping. Dust and stone-chip buildup along kerb-lines can encourage moss, weeds and rubbish to take over. Removing this makes a big difference to the appearance of a site. It can be scheduled as a regular task, or done as a one-off. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Combating moss, algae and lichen. There are various means of controlling moss and the like, whether in turf or on hard surfaces. Usually we would spray with chemical and/or physically remove it with brushing, scarifying or pressure-washing, depending on the situation. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Cutting back the edge. Turf growing along kerb-lines, paths and planted borders tends to encroach, unless the edge is renewed reasonably regularly (using a sharp half-moon iron). This can be done at any time of year, although we offer cheaper rates in the winter for this kind of work. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Tree work. Whether you need trees surveyed and maintained regularly, or just one-off remedial work done, we have specialist skilled and qualified teams available. Click here for more details.
- Design and build. Our highly-experienced and qualified specialist gardeners can help you create a new outdoor living space, or breathe new life into an established site. Click here for more details.
